Online class is the fruit of the imagination and hard work of great thinkers of many different eras. It is the epitome of development in technology and a great milestone for human race.
There are many advantages of online classes.
The students have a lot of free time in their hands which can be utilized by them by taking up a hobby, learning new skills or honing up the ones that they have already learnt. They have more time to spend with their parents and create a deeper bond with their family members. Online class is revolutionary and much more flexible than the traditional way of teachings. It assures that no child is given corporal punishment and everyone is given equal attention.
Everything has its own pros and cons.
There are many disadvantages of online class in countries like ours.
Nepal is a poor country. Every child could not afford computers, laptops or even a smartphone. Our nation is geographically difficult. Many villages don’t have electricity, let alone the internet. The internet of Nepal is very poor. Online class could make the students lackadaisical and make them procrastinate their works. It can also deteriorate the health of both the students as well as the teachers.
Despite its numerous cons, I am very grateful to have been born in an era where education could be brought right at our homes. I am thankful that I don’t need to waste my time waiting for the situation to be normal.
